We work on 15 CNC lathes from 5 to 10 axes with capacities from Ø1 to Ø32 mm branded Citizen, Tsugami and Tornos.

This technical state-of-the-art park guarantees our mastery of processes.

  • 3 CNC CITIZEN M 32 lathes up to 32 mm, 10 axes (2 C and 2 Y axes / equipped with LFV technology)

  • 5 CNC CITIZEN L20-8 lathes up to 20 mm, 7 axes (2 C axes / equipped with LFV technology)

  • 3 CNC TSUGAMI HS207 lathes up to 20 mm, 9 axes (2 C and 2 Y axes  as well as a B axis)

​

  • 2 CNC TSUGAMI HS327 lathes up to 32 mm, 9 axes (2 C and 2 Y axes as well as a B axis)

  • 2 Tornos lathe up to 25,5 mm

We lately received our new high productivity CNC TORNOS lathe SWISS GT26 offering new capacities as well as improved productivity on complex machining operations such as thread whirling or polygon turning with high rigidity.

LFV® technology ( « Low Frequency Vibration ») is machining technology by low frequency oscillations that has been developed and patented by the machine constructor Citizen.

​

This oscillation is generated on the axis in cutting direction and allows splitting of chips into smallest fragments.

This avoids problems with chips due to materials that generate long chips, without deteriorating part surfaces nor dimensions.

 

We are aware of the growing importance of quality assurance and deadlines.

Therefore we invested in this technology – securing our production and continuously improving our customer service rate.

The latest  Citizen M532-8 machine is a revolution in productivity.

It is equipped with 2 B axes as well as the new LFV® technology.

A truly technological advance, enabling us to offer even better production services in highly complex projects.

3D control 

 

We are now equipped with the latest 3D machine and are thus able to guarantee best measurements and traceability to our customers !

 

All production equipment is directly linked to our 3D measurement machine per USITRONIC© process.

Dimensional corrections are now automatically handled by this entity and guarantee radical reliability and security of our production without any human intervention.

This technology was developed by the CETIM and enables SUNAP to continue its involvement in « The connected plant of the future ».

While searching for a productive, fast and intuitive control mean, we decided to invest in the IM Keyence dimensional measurement machine !

It has recently been installed in our metrology department and enables us to gain time by carrying out :

​

  • Fast and complete production follow up controls

  • SPC recording, and in a near future storage of data for customer records.
